At Edelman, I was an art director intern for 6 months, extended from 3. There, I worked with a lot of teams including Con-Agra Foods, DMI, Kelloggs, Bush's, Barilla, Bertolli, and others. Being asked to do work with the design studio as well along with several internal creative requests. I worked hard, impressed co-workers and established a good reputation.
One of the creative concepts I worked on as a team with a copywriter intern and an art director overseeing was for Rotel. The client wanted a social concept that would speak to Rotel's big and bold flavor bringing that boldness to "mom's kitchen". My team's concept was to make Rotel big and bold in dramatic fashion. In that sense, I thought of Sin City-esque noir visuals using dramatic lighting and stark contrast making "Mom" a badass in the kitchen. Below are some comps of the idea for the pitch deck.
For DMI, I designed lockups for various Facebook and Twitter social posts for DMI's DairyGood and National Dairy Council accounts. Below is a selection of posts I created.
For Businessolver, I was asked to resize some web banners for their remarketing. Designed by the senior designer, I had to adjust the layout for each size. Using his 300x250 size as the starting point, I resized each to the shown sizes.
For Bertolli, I had to create a social post for a contest called #MangiaMoment congratulating the winners. The post included super-imposing wine-glasses, changing the color from white wine to red, onto a photo of Napa Valley.
I was asked to do a few different internal projects for Edelman. An HR directory org chart, t-shirt designs for the JPMorgan Corporate Challenge, and the creative brief/deck design for an Edelman/Bucketfeet design challenge.
